Our commitment

Rose & Bee Mahjong uses personal information only to operate the league and provide the app. We do not sell or rent personal information, including email addresses and cell numbers.

Information we collect

We collect the information needed to create and manage an account, participate in league matches, maintain scores and communicate about league play. This may include a name, mahjong experience level, email address, optional cell number, match participation and scores.

League profile information

Your name and mahjong experience level are visible to active members of your league. Experience may be shown in the member directory and alongside your name in a match.

Contact sharing is optional

Email addresses and cell numbers are private by default. Members may separately choose whether to share their email address or cell number with active members of their league for league play and contact. Leaving either option unchecked means that information is not displayed in the member directory.

Members may change these choices at any time from their profile. Turning sharing off removes the information from the league member directory.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate accounts, manage league membership, schedule matches, administer waitlists, record scores, display leaderboards, support members and protect the service.

When information may be disclosed

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the security or rights of members or the service, or to service providers that process information on our behalf under appropriate safeguards. We do not permit service providers to sell member information.

Data choices and retention

Members may update their profile and contact-sharing choices at any time. Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed to operate the league, meet legal obligations and maintain legitimate league records.
